Farmers market will be open long hours on the weekend and there will be a heritage pie contest!


Spicy, sweet, buttery, dry — and that’s just the food & wine. With more than 30 local restaurants, musicians, artisans, breweriesand top wine distributors, this festival of flavor will entice your senses with a recipe of fun! The festivities are slated to begin with an educational wine seminar hosted by renowned educator Robert Cavanaugh on Friday evening, September 14th, at the historic Blennerhassett hotel. The Taste of Parkersburg continues Saturday evening, September 15th, with wine distributors, restaurants, specialty food vendors and live music in an eclectic mix of tastes, sounds and energy.
