Gosh, it must be nice to work on a winter vineyard without trudging thru freezing snow. Great shot.

We do get some snow here but not much. We had a couple of inches last week but it was gone in a few days because of warmer weather. The fluctuations now because of the climate change is causing all kinds of plant confusion.

it is that climate change that for the first time, is allowing grapes to grow in my area.

My husband is a wino and has told me that every state has wineries….his goal is to visit at least one in each state. Not all grow grapes, though. West Virginia produces a lot of sweet fruit wines but there are several wineries that are growing grapes that have been developed by Cornell University for colder climates and we have some significant wines now. This farmer is growing table grapes and The Wild Ramp Market will be happy to have them.
