June 2, 2012

Driving between Mil-Ton Farm in Milton and Killer Bees in Hurricane, I passed this shed being built from pallets.

Creative re-purposing is the most wonderful form of recycling! Good for them!

They seemed to be doing a great job but were not really pleased that I showed up…made me wonder if they had gotten a permit LOL

Great recycling project. They probably don’t have a permit though. Those pesky inspectors like us to use shiny new things. I’ve tried to use pallets for building, and they are a chore to dismantle.

I am guessing that may have been why they were reluctant to talk to me. Hopefully they will complete the shed, which is very close to the road and would be apparent to anyone driving by without any hassle.

Ok, so mine isnt nearly this cool, but we used repurposed shipping crates to build our chicken coop. Nice work to you!!!
