We have some fruits that are just flowering and others that are further along. So many varieties.

I was talking to Katie Orr of Orr’s Farm this week…they have so many varieties that I never have tasted….can’t wait to plan a visit back there in the fall!

Do store-bought apples even grow on trees anymore?

LOL! That’s funny Roy! But then again, it isn’t….I suppose there are some people who don’t know. If meat in plastic wrap styrofoam trays in the grocery store are not from animals, how can apples be from a tree?

I am glad to see you weren’t affected by the late freezes like we were here in western NY. Many farmers lost all their tree fruit.

The more I learn about how the farmers here operate, the more I understand the losses they have each and every season either because of weather or predators or infestation. I really admire the dedication and stubbornness of our farmers!
